We can accept grass clippings (no dirt attached), shrub and yard clippings, branches, woodchips, bark, palm trees, flax, bamboo and weeds.Green waste does not include dirt, turf or sods (Clumps of dirt).Green waste does not include timber, logs, rocks, concrete, stumps, plastics, general rubbish of any kind or paper or cardboard. This list is not exhaustive; all Composting New Zealand staff have the right to deny the disposal of any product which does not meet what we deem to fit into our definition of acceptable Green Waste. Composting New Zealand has full right of refusal on what we accept on our site.
