Garden Mix
Our BioGro certified Garden Mix is a blend of 50% compost and 50% aged bark fines.
The bark fines component creates spaces within the mix to allow for water, air and root growth.
A very popular mix, this product is ideal as a base for new lawns, under ready lawn, for planting or to replenish existing garden beds.
Garden beds and planting
For optimal result, thoroughly mix into your existing soil. Compost based products release nutrients slowly over time, so for vegetable beds we recommend adding your choice of fertiliser.
BioGro Certification
Composting New Zealand achieved its first certification in 2003. Receiving the BioGro certification shows that every aspect of our process is compliant with the organic standards. Each one of the BioGro certified organic products can be traced back to its origin. For example, which of the three retail sites the green waste has come from to provide our customers with the final product (compost, lawn mix and garden mix).
